Preparing for a photo shoot is a key factor in achieving successful photos. Here are my steps before each shoot:

1. Determine the goal of the shoot: I discuss the details of the shoot with the client to understand what their expectations are for the theme, style, and purpose of the photography. This helps me plan the appropriate shots and compositions.

2. Choose the appropriate equipment: Based on the client’s requirements, I select the appropriate equipment for the job, depending on whether it’s for video or photo.

3. Location and timing: Choosing the right location and time of day is important to achieve the desired atmosphere and lighting. The best conditions outside are often early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid harsh sun at noon.

4. Preparation of props and accessories: If the session requires props or accessories, I make sure that all of them are ready and in good condition before the session.

5. Seeking inspiration: Before the session, I always gather inspiration by reviewing the portfolios of other photographers, books, magazines, or websites.

6. Testing equipment and lighting: Before the session, I always test the equipment and lighting to ensure that everything is working properly.

7. Planning shots: Based on the established goals and inspiration, I plan several shots that I want to capture before the session. However, during the session, it is also good to leave room for spontaneity and creativity.

8. Positive atmosphere: During the session, I maintain a positive atmosphere. Skillful direction during the session helps to achieve authentic and vivid photographs.

Preparing for a photo session is crucial, but equally important is remaining flexible and being able to adjust to changing conditions in order to take advantage of the best opportunities and moments during the shoot.
